Visiting GMM Sponsored Children's Families, Team From Europe
| Dear Supporters of Goodness and Mercy Missions Cause, We are so happy with what some of you have been doing for sometime, making life easy here for the underprivileged. Forever we shall be thankful for what you are doing as we see lives impacted and changed for the better on a daily basis. Without you and only left to us, the impact would not have been felt because we are incapapble of doing what you have done. I want to share with you some photos of a team from Switzerland that visited us to carry on a project at one of the colleges we support. They also took the nitiatve to visit some of the places where our sponsored children stay, to see firsthand and hear the testimony of the sponsorshp from thge children's mouths. It was all wonderful. They saw enough, heard enough, and what they heard and saw cut them to the prick for only half of the story have been told online. I want to thank you for all what you have been doing to these children and to thank ourselves for really meeting the needs of these children more than how you people would have expected. There is a saying here that when a lizard jumped down from a very tall tree it expected everybody to clap for it, but when nobody was clappng, it nodded and clapped for itself. We can now be happy that we are doing something worthwhile. The team will be sponsoring some of the children and perhaps emp[ower some women financially through small businesses and productive ventures where they can be sponsoring some children themselves. Our worry is with those children who are still pending and waiting on sponsorship. You can share this concern with your acquaintances. Some of these children can be found on http://www.gmmafricachild.org/page_2033342.html and www.goodnessmercymission.wordpress.com. We love you all. Teh Francis, GMM Cameroon.

GMM Children Success in Public Exams, Cameroon GCE 2012
| This is one of the greatest days in the history of Goodness and Mercy Missions, one of the days we measure our success as regards as to the help we have been giving the children all these years. The Cameroon General Certificate of Education results were out yesterday and almost all of the children we have been helping, except Selma who started exams but was sick never completely, passed with flying colours. The public exams in Cameroon are always tough. They try people before they have access to high school or University. These are the children who have passed: Carne Diangha had six papers and sponsored by Erin in the USA. Yaffi Sonita had 7 papers, sponsored by Sarah Armander in Norway, Yvonne Bi, 5 papers, had been sponsored by Fionna in the UK, Humphrey 4 papers, had been sponsored by Fionna in the UK, Carine Kimbi 8 papers sponsored by Vanessa in The Netherlands, Tim Elvis 11 papers, on our general sponsorship, Mildred, 7 papers on our general sponsorship, Sidonie Nena, 4 papers sponsored by Renata in Switzerland and Minerva, six papers on our general sponsorship. This is great news and calls for great rejoicing. I must confess, these children have made this stride because of your love, support and wonderful concern. They will forget anything else in this life but they will never forget you. Even if they stop school now they cn have a job in Cameroon. Our desire is to take them to the next level, from there to another level, why not to the heights. All sponsors of GMM, we salute you. I know there is a force in this universe that watches all what you do and shall reward you accordingly. Even if nobody rewards you, what you have done is a great reward. The hand that made us is divine. You can sponsor a child by going to www.goodnessmercymission.wordpress.com or www.gmmafricachild.org. GMM Cameroon

Iron Sharpens Iron, GMM Women Economic Empowerment Program
| Empowering women economically by Goodness and Mercy Missions in Cameroon has helped reduced hosuehold poverty, boost education, good nutrition and health within the rural communities of Cameroon. On Saturday 23rd June 2012, the women helped by Goodness and Mercy Missions came together, not only to report about the progress of the fudning given to them, but to sharpen one another with the skills developed during the process. It was also wonderful hearing that such a gesture has great impact in their lives. You can sponsor a women's group and involve them in income generating schemes so as to wade off family poverty. Katherine from USA Sponsors Conscience
| There is no greater joy than seeing the plight of a child, thinking of ways to help the child and suddenly finds a way. Katherine L. in the USA working as a United Nations Online Volunteer with GMM on Women Projects found the GMM Child Sponsorship program so exciting that she ended up sponsoring a child. Her chocie is Chiagah Conscience who has lost both parents and there was literally no one to care for her. We thank Christ the King Baptist High School in Fundong, Boyo Division, Cameroon. Despite the fact that we had no funds to keep her in school, they accepted to retain her until we find help. Thanks also go to Rev. Ndimbu David of Joseph Merrick Baptist church Fundong who accepted that Mildred should stay with him when she had no where to lay her head. Life for her will never be the same again. Katherine will take care of her health, nutrition and educational need. She is now sure of a hassle free secondary and high school education. You too can sponsor a child with Goodness and Mercy Missions. From the Website you can choose level 1, 2 or 3 according to how much you can help. Information is available here www.gmmafricachild.org, www.commit2africa.org and www.goodnessmercymissions.wordpress.com. |
