Christmas Party, Goodness and Mercy Missions, Cameroon

23rd December 2011 remains a remarkable day in the history of Goodness
and Mercy Missions, Cameroon. Weare a non profit registered
organization providing tools and helps to disadvantaged people and
communities for a sustainable livelihood. This year the Xmas party
organized in honour of the orphan and needy children we sponsor
surpassed that which we have held in previous years. New things came
in. A fleet of bicycles bought by our sponsor and partner Gabey in
Holland graced the occasion. The children can do cycling at will. The
bicycles will also help ferry them to school and back home. This helps
lessen the stress that comes with trekking to school to and fro
everyday.
Also at the party we gave certificates of appreciation and gifts to
distinguished fellows at Goodness and Mercy Missions who have helped
us carry out our program with great success over the years. They were
Levi, Theophilus, Carine, Janet and Elvis. Recognition was also given
to the sponsors, partners and supporters who have had a remarkable
contribution to our success. Names of different sponsors, Partners and
their countries were read out to the children and to all present. The
countries the sponsors come from are Canada, USA, France, Guatemala,
Australia, Korea, Sweden, Norway, England, Scotland, Ireland, The
Netherlands and China.
Goodness and Mercy Missions continues to advertise her sponsorship
program. You can pick a child and sponsor at
www.gmmafricachild.org.Interested in other programs, go to

The family of Goodness and Mercy Missions wishes you a merry christmas
and a prosperous New Year.

Support Sustainable Project for Orphan Children

Families_helped_by_gmm

Through Catalyst Exhibits, Goodness and Mercy Missions is able to sponsor more than 85 orphans in Cameroon through a Motor-Bike taxi project. With 3 bikes income has been generated and the education, nutrition and health needs of these children met. Three more bikes are needed and we attach a proposal here. Can anyone direct us where we can find help or raise money and continue to intervene in the lives of the disdavantaged children in Cameroon?

GMM Team Member, Winning the 2011 Un Award

Winning the 2011 UN Online Volunteering Award by Akanksha one of the Goodness and Mercy Missions team is received with greater joy by the family of Goodness and Mercy Missions. She has been very instrumental in making us win the World Bank Cameroon DM competition in 2011. Even after that she continues to be of assistance to us so we can execute the program properly. Such individuals deserve honour and we are happy when such honour is coming from the United Nations.

Goodness and Mercy Missions is a non profit making organization started in 2007 by Rev. Teh Francis and Natalie Runyon. The organization provides tools and helps to needy persons and communities in Cameroon for a sustainable livelihood. It has connected several orphans and needy children to sponsors around the world, empower women to be financially self-sustaining, created computer labs in several colleges in the North West in partnership with Helps International Buea plus a lot more not to talk of the gospel work taken to many parts of the country.

You can get to our sites to understand the work, www.gmmafrica.org, www.commit2africa.org, and our Child sponsorship site www.gmmafricachild.org. You can get a child there to sponsor. You can also contact us at info@gmmafrica.org.

November Updates, Goodness and Mercy Missions, Cameroon

Dear Friends, Supporters, sponsors, donors, partners and any connected with GMM in any way,
With much gratitude in our hearts we reach out to you this early November with some updates of what has transpired and is on in Goodness and Mercy Missions. We reach out to you because we could not have accomplish this much without your support. Our task at providing tools and helps to rural persons and communities both in the physical and spiritual domains has been very much successful. This quarter we have created computer labs in several secondary school in partnership with Computers4africa and HINT a Buea based organization. Some computers have been added to the institute at Belo as more needy children come round for the training.
We thank all sponsors of children with us.Those who have visited us in person have seen what great impact they make in the lives of these children in the areas of nutrition, health and education. Many of these children are still pending on our site without sponsors. If you find one who may sponsor a it is right here www.gmmafrica.org and www.commit2africa.org.
Catalyst Exhibits, a designing company in US through the negotiation of Paul continues to help. Their motor bike taxi program with GMM continues to raise funds to help several children in school at Jinkfuin and at Acha Baptist College. We still need 3 bikes to help more children.
Our Children education through women empowerment program has grown to support 16 women groups in several communities. Women are trained in small business endeavours combined with savings and loans to members where they generate income to help their faimilies in education, health, nutrition and household poverty. One of these proposals is attached here for you to see what we do. Anybody interested in this program can see how to support or connect us to any where we can receive help and reach out to more women groups.
As we expand everyday, we badly need a van for filed work and for easy facilitation of our activities. We have communicated this in previous updates and it is still our main concern.
However, my main idea has been to say hi and may you understand that the course you have been supporting is growing and impacting many lives.
Thank you so much for your wonderful care. With all our hearts we appreciate it.
